The Pop

The Pop is a five-story, 122-unit mixed-use apartment community with 12,500 square feet of new retail space and structured parking on a 1.6-acre site overlooking Pop Keeney Stadium. Water and sewer improvements were completed, and the site was graded to mesh seamlessly with the City’s Horse Creek Plaza next door. The project provides an enhanced water quality facility to treat stormwater for The Pop and future buildout of the adjacent parcel. Cleaned runoff is then discharged off the site into the City’s downtown trunk line, which directs discharges into the nearby Sammamish River. The landscape design features a podium-level courtyard open to residents as well as the public. The courtyard provides casual seating and gathering areas; custom-designed site furnishings, amenities, and lighting; lush plantings and landscape boulders; and a flowing, curvilinear design. A lighted pedestrian path loops around the building for short strolls and to provide access to the woonerf amenity space. An upper-level outdoor tiered seating area offers residents the opportunity to be spectators to sporting events inside adjacent Pop Keeney Stadium or just enjoy the view.
