Blueline provided civil design services from preliminary design development through construction for the Ridge at Big Rock, a multi-phased master planned community in Duvall. Our team worked closely with Toll Brothers and the landscape architect group to provide an integrated master plan incorporating open spaces, parks, amenities, and homes into this 60-acre, signature community. Blueline designed the roads and infrastructure including collaboration with transportation engineers and the landscape architect to design a decorative but functional roundabout serving as the entry to the development. Other services included widening of existing frontage to accommodate turn lanes and a planted center median, parking, bicycle lanes, pedestrian routes, and the design of a new arterial through the site linking adjacent neighborhoods to nearby commercial areas. Blueline also designed multiple underground storm drain facilities that disappear into the landscape while maintaining flows to on-site streams and wetlands.
