Sidewalk Project

A busy portion of the downtown North Bend Way sidewalk was in a state of disrepair. Cracks in the concrete panels, separated grade curbing, and delaminating synthetic grass sections in unused landscape beds were creating a risk to pedestrian safety as well lack of accessibility for the elderly and disabled. Blueline designed and provided construction administration and inspection services for 620 LF of ADA-compliant sidewalks and ramps, curb and gutter, lighting, and drainage improvements along several blocks of North Bend Way for this King County Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funded project. The improvements addressed immediate pedestrian safety problems and provided connectivity between already completed pedestrian projects on either side of this project site.
