Quinn’s Crossing, Snohomish County Client: Yarrow Bay Development The 2007 Street of Dreams site slated for Built Green Certified, upscale bungalows, cottages, and prairie farmhouses. This high profile, 114-acre parcel has sensitive areas throughout. Blueline permitted the final engineering phase and provided extensive value engineering services; weighing infrastructure costs against the 48 estate-sized lots. We teamed with several specialists to create a constructible design that minimized sensitive area impact. |

The Highlands, Kirkland Client: Taylor Development With 25 lots, The Highlands is one of the largest developments in recent Kirkland history. Our cost-benefit analysis revealed that an environmentally-friendly, Low Impact Development (LID) approach was the most cost-effective design solution. Use of pervious pavement, open swales, and other LID techniques reduced the necessary vault capacity and increased lot yield. |
